All construction and finishing of the house is made with hand-picked materials, made by local Brazilian artisanal designers and carpenters.
National Park Chapada dos Veadeiros
Main House
The Main house has 2 bedrooms in a private wing with its own entrance, made up of a master bedroom and an en-suite jacuzzi bathroom, and an adjacent children’s bedroom.
The main body of the house has a large open-plan newly built and fully equipped modern kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The kitchen has a separate wash kitchen quarter with its own entrance.
The dining room and living room have 4 modern large sliding doors fitted with mosquito nets that overlook the main patio. Connected to the living area, is a private study or could be converted into a bedroom.
Facing the east and south east the house has large patios surrounding the facade, on one side made out of wood flooring covered by thatch roofing, and the other artisan tiling, with an additional guest toilet with its own entrance.
Guest House
The Guest house is a large and ample light-filled loft-style house, with 7 meters in height ceiling and the master bedroom on the mezzanine floor.
It has a large living area with a bathroom and a shower and kitchen on the ground floor. It also boasts a beautiful deck overlooking the entire valley. The Guest house is 20 meters apart from the main house. Connected to the main house and yoga studio, by rock laid pathways.
Yoga Studio
The Yoga studio, with an incredible view over the whole valley and surrounding mountains, is like an eagle's nest perched above the Main house, connected by outdoor stairs. All glass front with artisan wooden window frames. Originally conceived as a private exercise and dance salon, it could also be used as a workshop space, or could be converted into a stunning master bedroom. It has an adjacent bathroom, with shower and artisan tiling.
In the same building connected to the Yoga studio, there is an office room, a wash room for laundry with all amenities , and 2 storage rooms, which could also serve as additional bedrooms.
Garden and Exterior Buildings
The property is built to experience outdoor living, and yet one can close all buildings when one chooses in the winter months. Around 70 meters of outdoors paths and staircases connect all the decks and the buildings.
There is an outdoor fireplace in front of the main house, with seating area.
In the Extensive Garden there is a traditional fazenda outdoor kitchen with wooden stove and pizza oven, a separate garden house atelier, and a fountain area/pond with a meditation deck and a bridge leading off-property to the river. All structures are furnished with artisanal wooden furniture.
An underground drainage system was installed before any building took place to ensure that the land was well drained and there would be no soil erosion. We have planted the garden with great enthusiasm for many years and it is a beautiful food forest now. There are multiple sitting areas curated throughout the property.
The land is fully fenced, has an electric gate and a 3 car capacity garage with 2 large storage rooms. The total built living space is 500 squared meters.
